Shannon employs Appalachian and Shaker techniques, utilizing antique equipment and handcrafting methods to wind sweeps on handles made from repurposed, recycled and newly fashioned handles with natural and dyed broomcorn creating brooms that pay homage to past broomcraft and establish new ideas.
